How affiliate links work
Most outbound product links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one, the seller or retailer can record that the referral came from The Review Desk. If a qualifying purchase follows, we may receive a percentage of the sale.
This does not add a fee to the purchase price. We cannot promise that every route, price, or offer shown by a seller is identical, so reviews ask readers to confirm current checkout terms.
What commission does not buy
No seller pays for a favorable verdict, previews a review before publication, or receives a right to change or remove editorial conclusions. Public affiliate programs may define link and promotional rules, but they do not establish our factual conclusions.
How we handle the incentive
A disclosure does not erase the incentive to earn commission. Our main safeguard is source order: the evidence boundary, limitations, and “Skip it if” guidance must appear before the first commercial call to action on every review. Seller claims are labeled where they appear, not repaired by a source list at the end.
Our published method gives readers a standard against which to judge each page.
Advertising
We may pay search engines to place links to our editorial reviews. An advertised review is the same public page linked from this site. Advertising does not change its sourcing, caveats, or affiliate disclosure.
Entertainment products
Some products reviewed here—such as spiritual readings or sketches—are sold by their sellers for entertainment purposes only. The relevant review states that limitation prominently and does not present an entertainment claim as verified guidance or an outcome.
Retailers
Where a third-party retailer handles a transaction, the review identifies that role because it affects order lookup and return requests. ClickBank is the retailer for some products referenced here. ClickBank’s role as retailer does not constitute endorsement, approval, or review of a product or any promotional claim, statement, or opinion.
